The Best New Year's Resolution is to Travel

December is the most wonderful month of the year with all the fun of the holidays, the many feasts and family gatherings! And right after all the magic of December, we all have the chance of envisioning what the brand new year that is about to arrive will look like for us! We have a clean slate ready to receive everything we are ready to build for that New Year.  We looked up what the most popular New Year’s resolutions are according to Nielsen and here’s what we found:

It’s no surprise that staying fit is the number one resolution for most people, but we were really surprised to see “travel more” so close to the bottom of the list. Travel has so many benefits and incredible “side effects” that here at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa we believe that traveling more should be everyone’s number one resolution. Travel can actually encompass most all of the other resolutions and here’s how:


1- Stay fit and healthy: Traveling means exploring and exploring means lots of walking around, which can certainly help you keep your fitness goals. When visiting Orlando for example, you will easily walk miles a day at the theme parks and not even feel like you did it.
