Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park

Disney’s Blizzard Beach is a water park with a ski resort theme. This park was meant to be a ski resort, but because of the Florida heat, there was no way to keep the snow from melting, so it was reworked into a waterpark. Guests from around the world visit this water park for its Blizzard Beach Chairlift (a real ski lift located on top of Mount Gushmore), lazy river, wave pool, and most importantly, it is home to one of the world’s tallest and fastest free-fall waterslides.

A passport is available for frequent visitors, to help them get tickets at a discounted rate.

Some Things You Should Know

Diaper-age children must wear plastic pants or swim diapers in the pool areas.
Buckles, rivets, exposed metal, zippers, or other sharp objects are not allowed on any of the attractions.
Parking is complimentary for all guests visiting the water park.
Life jackets are also complimentary and located on self-serve racks throughout the park.
Towels and Locker Racks are available for rent, located at Singapore Sal’s and High N’ Dry Rentals.
Polar Patios and Umbrellas are also available to rent.
